Meet our Staff
Meet Dr. John Slippy, DC
I was introduced to chiropractic after my wife was in an automobile accident in 1998. After listening to a health talk given by our chiropractor, I began to realize the amazing, God-given power of the human body to heal itself and maintain a state of health, if the nervous system is unhindered by spinal misalignments and if the body is given all of the proper resources with which to work.
Having aspirations to do God’s work by serving people, I began to see that I was made to be a chiropractor! After many years and much hard work, I am now thrilled to have the opportunity to offer my patients one of the greatest gifts possible…a means to health and wellness!
Known by my patients for having "gentle hands" my goal is to provide care that is effective, comfortable, and specific in an atmosphere where each patient knows that they’re getting complete care for the whole person.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four daughters, staying active, playing guitar, Bible study, traveling, constantly learning, and supporting my wife as we home school our children.
While growing up in Downingtown, I learned about chiropractic from my father’s local chiropractor. I began to receive chiropractic care while attending Penn State University and have never looked back! After graduating from Penn State I went to Palmer College of Chiropractic to begin my journey of learning about how the body was designed by God with the ability to heal itself. I was amazed that as a doctor I can help facilitate a patient's journey toward optimum health.
My first experience with chiropractic was 25 years ago. I was 20 years old and had recurring lower back pain. After receiving only temporary results with medicine I decided to try a chiropractor. I was so impressed with my results that I switched my major in college to pursue a career in chiropractic. I graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1995 and have been practicing in the West Chester and Exton areas ever since. The results I have seen in practice in the last 15 years have been nothing less than phenomenal.
A chiropractic lifestyle has also kept me doing all the things I love, like working on my Christmas tree farm and playing with my twin children.
Meet Denise, Office Manager
My name is Denise and I have been working in a chiropractic office for many years. I have personally experienced the miraculous changes and benefits in my health thru chiropractic. After experiencing four miscarriages and feeling like I had no other option, I sought chiropractic care from a chiropractor who dealt with these types of issues. After working with that group of doctors, I now have a beautiful baby girl. Chiropractic has taught me that healing takes place when the body is experiencing no nerve interference and allowing the body to heal just like God intended. I am not only a believer in chiropractic, but I am a lifetime patient. I am proud to be a part of Living Well Chiropractic and how hard we strive to help and treat each and every patient with individualized care that makes a difference. You will be in great hands as we help you on our journey to health and healing.
Meet Happy, Chiropractic Assistant
My name is Happy and I am thrilled to be on board with Living Well Chiropractic! I graduated from college in 2010 and am so thankful to already have an opportunity to serve effectively in a work environment where the focus is genuine care and healing. I have seen how chiropractic has benefited close friends and family, and I'm excited to help out the doctors with the ins and outs of their work as they use their God-given gifts to help those in need. I love getting to interact with every person who walks through the front door. My hope is that, through my conversations with and assistance to you, you will feel comfortable, cared for, and ultimately blessed by the healing hand of God.
