Meet our Staff
Meet Dr. John Slippy, D.C.
I was introduced to chiropractic after my wife was in an automobile accident in 1998. After listening to a health talk given by our chiropractor, I began to realize the amazing, God-given power of the human body to heal itself and maintain a state of health, if the nervous system is unhindered by spinal misalignments and if the body is given all of the proper resources with which to work.
Having aspirations to do God’s work by serving people, I began to see that I was made to be a chiropractor! After many years and much hard work, I am now thrilled to have the opportunity to offer my patients one of the greatest gifts possible…a means to health and wellness!
Known by my patients for having "gentle hands" my goal is to provide care that is effective, comfortable, and specific in an atmosphere where each patient knows that they’re getting complete care for the whole person.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four daughters, staying active, playing guitar, Bible study, traveling, constantly learning, and supporting my wife as we home school our children.
Meet Denise, Office Manager
My name is Denise and I am married and have a 4 year old daughter. I have been involved with chiropractic for many years and could not imagine doing anything else. The miracles I have experienced and witnessed over the years have been incredible. After experiencing 4 miscarriages in a row and seeking care from a specialized chiropractor who dealt with these issues, I not only experienced healing in all areas of my health, but I now have a beautiful baby girl. Chiropractic has taught me that healing takes place when the body is experiencing no nerve interference. I am not only a believer in chiropractic, but I am a lifetime patient.
Meet Patty, Massage Therapist
Patty began her academic career studying business administration. After working 15+ years in the banking industry she decided it was time to pursue her interest in the healing arts. She graduated from the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy (PSMT) in 2001 and has worked mainly for Doctors of Chiropractic Medicine.
Patty adjusts her therapeutic massage appropriately according to each client’s individual needs using therapeutic swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy techniques. There are many benefits to therapeutic massage including the following:
- relaxation of tension or muscle spasm
- relief of stiffness, discomfort, and pain
